We are pleased to share more about our partnerships and programs with the launch of Moody’s “Meet the Partner” podcast series. In our first episode, Stephanie Melrose, AVP of Community Impact, Moody’s sits down with Reem Goussouss, Chief Growth Officer, Village Capital to discuss how our joint programs are helping underestimated entrepreneurs, including those of color, during Black History Month.

At Moody’s, we are committed to providing organizations with emergency funding to support relief and recovery efforts for humanitarian crises and natural disasters around the world. In response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Moody’s came together as a global community to provide financial support and humanitarian aid to Ukrainian refugees.

In October 2022, we held our first-ever Global Pro Bono Consulting Workshop, where nearly 70 of our colleagues donated a total of 828 hours to support 14 nonprofits in their respective regions. During the sessions, our volunteers used their skills and expertise to help improve the nonprofits’ capabilities in the areas of finance, project and data management, and communications, among others.

The pandemic brought many challenges to the workplace and society, but it also gave us the opportunity to re-evaluate the needs of employees and communities. At Moody’s, we are adjusting our volunteer and community programs to align with the new world of work and where we can make the biggest impact.
