Podcast with Moody’s Expert: Tips for Women Entrepreneurs to Access Credit

We’re delighted to share that we’ve joined forces with WEConnect International, a Moody’s Foundation partner, on a new episode of their “To Her Credit” podcast series. In the episode, our very own Shawn Gregrich, Dir-Senior Learning Partner at Moody's Analytics, discusses the intricacies of obtaining credit and gives practical advice and expert tips to help women entrepreneurs access credit and grow their small businesses.

Despite women-owned businesses making significant contributions to economies around the world, about 70% of women-owned small and medium businesses have inadequate or no access to financial services (Goldman Sachs 2016). Together with WEConnect International, we established the Financing Your Growing Business program which supports around 300 women business owners annually through interactive boot camps and online training modules that focus on credit training and accessing markets and capital. Thanks to Shawn and many other Moody’s volunteers, we’re helping to make a meaningful difference and create more inclusive economies through this program.
