About our partnership
We are committed to creating a sense of purpose, pride and belonging to make Moody's a place that people want to come and stay. Recent studies showcase that 70 percent of employees said that their sense of purpose is defined by their work, with many people reconsidering the kind of work they do because of personal reflection during the pandemic. Through our nonprofit partnerships and community engagement programs, we are prioritizing our employees’ values and making our comprehensive support model come to life by providing access to our pro bono products and research, expert volunteers, and Board service.
Our joint ‘Financing Your Growing Business’ program supports around 300 women business owners annually through interactive boot camps and online training modules that focus on credit training and accessing markets and capital. Together, with support from our people, we are empowering women entrepreneurs in the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, France, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, South Africa, UK, and Vietnam. Additionally, Moody’s partners with WEConnect International to expand our supply diversity efforts, including gender-inclusive sourcing, as a member of the WEConnect Community, a database of thousands of women-owned businesses that provide products and services to global buyers, like Moody’s, around the world.
