Employee engagement

Celebrating an incredible season of Moody’s TeamUp®!

We’ve just wrapped this year’s Moody’s TeamUp® global employee engagement campaign, an annual volunteer initiative which offers various in-person and virtual volunteer opportunities for our employees around the world, enabling our people to embrace our values while investing in our communities.

Celebrating our impact

This year, more than 4,000 volunteers took part in 150+ volunteer events across 59 cities, completing over 11,000 volunteer hours in support of more than 100 local nonprofits.

“Our Moody's TeamUp® program is a powerful platform for elevating and empowering our communities. It also serves as a unique opportunity for our volunteers to forge connections and acquire new skills. This year's campaign united a significant number of employees across Moody’s, showcasing the profound impact we can create when we lead with purpose and direct our efforts where they are needed most.”

Anthony Sanchez
Vice President – Global Head of Moody’s Community Impact

We piloted five Festivals of Volunteering in New York, Brussels, and London, bringing multiple nonprofits to a single location.

#TeamMoodys volunteers lent a helping hand at local parks, food banks, animal shelters, schools and community gardens all over the world.

Our volunteers also assembled care packages for the elderly, packed STEM and wellness kits, built bird houses and much more!

We also featured virtual events for our remote employees, with activities including packing STEM, youth literacy and hydroponic kits.

Stories from our volunteers

Employee voice and choice are at the core of our engagement programs at Moody’s. We are incredibly grateful to all our employees who embraced our values and volunteered during our season of service. Read more about our employees’ volunteer experiences below:

“I had the opportunity to volunteer as part of a park clean-up event in Paris. During the event, we got to learn more about the nonprofit GAIA and its initiatives which advocate for zero waste. They also shared practical advice on how we can reduce our environmental footprint in our day-to-day lives. Environmental issues are very important to me, so I was thrilled to contribute to a cause I care deeply about.”

Aurelie Salmon

“As a former English teacher and life-long bibliophile, I was happy to participate in a literacy program for underprivileged children. It was great to have a volunteer opportunity that matched my passion for books and reading.”

Lisa Cook
Assistant Director - Pr Technical Writer

“It was great to be able to support a local charity, meet new colleagues, and use our skills to help those who will really benefit from our guidance and commitment. Moody’s TeamUp® is a true example of Moody's values being put into practice within the local community.”
